Indie Games Galore at Boston FIG

I’m here at the Boston Festival of Independent Games (Boston FIG) today. It’s actually in Cambridge, at MIT, but otherwise the title is not misleading: It is festive and full of indie games and discussion of them. I’ve seen an incredible variety of work by individuals and small teams of developers. Just to give some flavor of the event — according to my notes, I’ve seen:

  1. You, ah, skipped the interactive fiction tables? Codename Cygnus? Choice of Romance? PRIF? :-)

  2. Nope … maybe you’ll see mention of them if you reload.

    I did post this just before heading to the 3pm Lost Pig, which was great and in which the audience was victorious. And I just now am back from retrieving a bunch of books and other items from the PR-IF table. Next, on to the 6:45pm narrative panel in 10-2350 and then to the IF meetup & dinner at Asgard.
