Montfort will read from these two books, reading English and Spanish
\ntexts from 2×6.<\/i> Paperback copies will be available for purchase. The
\nshort programs that generated these books are printed in the books and also
\navailable as free software online.<\/p>\n

L\u00e4ufer will read from his projects Bigrammatology and WriterTools\u2122, in
\nboth cases, in Spanish and English.<\/p>\n

Montfort and L\u00e4ufer will read from work done as part of the Renderings
\nproject and as part of another project, Heftings.<\/p>\n

The Renderings<\/i> project, organized by Montfort and based at his
\nlab, The Trope Tank, involves locating computational literature (such as
\npoetry generating computer programs) from around the globe and translating
\nthese works into English. L\u00e4ufer and Montfort will read from two
\nSpanish-language poetry generators, from Argentina and Spain, and from
\ntranslations of them.<\/p>\n

The Heftings<\/i> project, also organized by Montfort through The
\nTrope Tank, involves making attempts, often many, at translating conceptual,
\nconstrained, concrete & visual, and other types of literary art that are
\ngenerally considered to be impossible to translate. Montfort and L\u00e4ufer will
\nread from some short works that are originally in Spanish or English and
\nworks that have Spanish or English translations.<\/p>\n

Nick Montfort<\/b> develops computational art and poetry, often
\ncollaboratively. His poetry books are #!, Riddle & Bind,<\/i> and
\nAutopia;<\/i> he co-wrote 2002: A Palindrome Story<\/i> and 2\u00d76.<\/i> His
\nmore than fifty digital projects, at http:\/\/nickm.com, include the
\ncollaborations The Deletionist, Sea and Spar Between,<\/i> and the
\nRenderings<\/i> project. His collaborative and individual books from the MIT
\nPress are: The New Media Reader, Twisty Little Passages, Racing the Beam,
\n10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)); : GOTO 10,<\/i> and most recently Exploratory
\nProgramming for the Arts and Humanities.<\/i> He lives in New York and
\nBoston, offers naming services as Nomnym, and is a professor at MIT.<\/p>\n

Milton L\u00e4ufer <\/b>is an Argentinian writer, journalist and teacher.
\nCurrently he is doing a PhD at New York University focused on digital
\nliterature in Latin America. He is the 2016-2017 writer-in-residence of
\nThe Trope Tank<\/i>, MIT. In 2015 he published Lagunas<\/i>, a partially
\nalgorithmic-generated novel, which \u2014as most of his work\u2014 is available online
\nat http:\/\/www.miltonlaufer.com.ar. He has participated in art exhibitions in
