The<br \/>\nshort programs that generated these books are printed in the books and also<br \/>\navailable as free software online.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00e4ufer will read from his projects Bigrammatology and WriterTools\u2122, in<br \/>\nboth cases, in Spanish and English.<\/p>\n<p>Montfort and L\u00e4ufer will read from work done as part of the Renderings<br \/>\nproject and as part of another project, Heftings.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Renderings<\/i> project, organized by Montfort and based at his<br \/>\nlab, The Trope Tank, involves locating computational literature (such as<br \/>\npoetry generating computer programs) from around the globe and translating<br \/>\nthese works into English. L\u00e4ufer and Montfort will read from two<br \/>\nSpanish-language poetry generators, from Argentina and Spain, and from<br \/>\ntranslations of them.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Heftings<\/i> project, also organized by Montfort through The<br \/>\nTrope Tank, involves making attempts, often many, at translating conceptual,<br \/>\nconstrained, concrete &amp; visual, and other types of literary art that are<br \/>\ngenerally considered to be impossible to translate. Montfort and L\u00e4ufer will<br \/>\nread from some short works that are originally in Spanish or English and<br \/>\nworks that have Spanish or English translations.<\/p>\n<p><b>Nick Montfort<\/b> develops computational art and poetry, often<br \/>\ncollaboratively. His poetry books are <i>#!, Riddle &amp; Bind,<\/i> and <i><br \/>\nAutopia;<\/i> he co-wrote <i>2002: A Palindrome Story<\/i> and <i>2\u00d76.<\/i> His<br \/>\nmore than fifty digital projects, at http:\/\/nickm.com, include the<br \/>\ncollaborations <i>The Deletionist, Sea and Spar Between,<\/i> and the <i><br \/>\nRenderings<\/i> project.
