Here&#8217;s the abstract:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The demoscene is a mainly European subculture of computer<br \/>\nprogrammers, whose programs generate computer art in real time. The<br \/>\naim of this report is to attempt a description of the textual<br \/>\ndimension of the demoscene. The report is the effect of efforts to<br \/>\nperform an ethnographic exploration of the Polish computer scene; it<br \/>\nquotes interviews with participants of demo parties, where text<br \/>\nplays a significant role: in demos, real-time texts, IF, mags or<br \/>\ndigital adaptations.
